Khadas เปิดตัวคอมพิวเตอร์ขนาดเล็กรุ่นใหม่ในชื่อรุ่น VIM3L ซึ่งจะต่างไปจากรุ่น VIM3 ที่ได้วางจำหน่ายไปก่อนหน้านี้ โดยแตกต่างกันตรงที่ใช้ชิพ Amlogic S905D3 จากเดิม Amlogic A311D ในรุ่น VIM3

เนื่องด้วยบอร์ดตัวนี้ใช้ชิพ Amlogic S905D3 ที่มีความสามารถทางด้านมัลติมีเดีย จึงทำให้บอร์ดรุ่นนี้เหมาะสำหรับใช้งานทางด้านความบันเทิง โดยผู้ผลิตได้ทำระบบปฏิบัติการ LibreELEC,CoreELEC และ Android 9.0 ที่ออกแบบมาสำหรับงานมัลติมีเดียและรองรับการใช้งานผ่านรีโมทคอนโทรลด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน
